#MY ROAD TO NOWHERE SERIES#

The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. Directed by Kat Coiro (Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9) and Anu Valia (Episodes 5, 6, 7) with Jessica Gao as head writer, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. Streaming exclusively on Disney+ beginning August 17, the new comedy series stars Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. With the dramatic ending and all the drama surrounding Cox and Jordan's baby we can't help but recommend this episode to those who are fans of Scrubs… otherwise if you are just luke-warm on the series or never seen it before, we would suggest checking out an episode like the aforementioned "My Musical" to get a better handle on how great the show can really be.ĭisney+ has released a new trailer for Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. "My Road to Nowhere" may have been a below average episode for Scrubs but that doesn't take away from the fact that it was still pretty good television. The ending of the show alone was enough to make the show worth watching, and as not to spoil the happenings, we will just say that we feel bad for poor J.D., and that we can't wait to see where his story with Kim finally ends up. and Kim we were able to see the type of impressive relationship centered drama that Scrubs is able to balance so well with its off-beat and random humor. Between Cox and Jordan, Turk and Carla, and especially J.D. While the cell phone scene may have been the funniest moment of the show, it was really the dramatic comedy which made "My Road to Nowhere" worth watching. As if the scene itself wasn't funny enough (with Cox tossing Turk's phone down the hallway), the fact that the song that is clearly being played across the entirety of the scene was "Guy Love" made us instantly forget that the episode was a bit of a bore until that point. It is amazing that something this small would get such a great reaction from us, but the fact that the song that Turk's phone was playing was "Guy Love" from the musical episode of Scrubs, "My Musical," was just hilarious. Our favorite joke was most definitely Turk's ringtone on his cell phone. While the road trip was a bust, there were still a couple of large laughs in the show. Either way this type of irrational character behavior and stagnant character progression wasted a genuine opportunity to expand on Carla's independence or growing embrace to motherhood, or Elliot and Keith's relationship, or even the Janitor and J.D.'s ridiculous rivalry - but instead we got nonsensical comedy that reveled in being more random than meaningful.

Case in point was the Janitor who, granted fell out of a moving vehicle, but turned into a dopey happy friend to all aboard the RV - we couldn't tell if the Janitor was messing with everybody by being silly, or if he was just knocked silly when attempting to leave the moving vehicle. In an episode like this we would normally look for character progression on the road, but instead we had characters reverting back as far as possible and acting just plain strange. While generally we would embrace such a gimmick, the comedy related to the cross-country trip just wasn't funny. The episode's mediocrity can be blamed on the road trip. Unfortunately these interesting bits of the show came in the last couple minutes, after a mediocre start. While the random comedy of Scrubs is the majority of the reason that we watch the show, over the past six years we have learned to care for the characters and as such we want to see their lives end happily, so when the show messes around with us dramatically like the end of this episode did we can't help but be glued to the screen. In the end all the characters left on a bittersweet note relating to their relationships and children. Cox and Jordan dealt with their own ultrasound mishap, and were forced into prenatal surgery. off to see Kim and catch the ultrasound of their unborn child.

Using Kelso's RV we watched as the group tried on Kelso's kimonos, tore off a whole side of the vehicle and dropped J.D. As mentioned "My Road to Nowhere" contains a road trip which was able to get J.D., Carla, Elliot, Keith, Ted and the Janitor out of Sacred Heart and onto the open road.
